The Cartier tank needs no introduction but just in case : Not only is it one of the oldest and most enduring watch designs, it’s also one of the hottest models in the current market. Louis Cartier, the founder of the brand, invented the Cartier Tank watch in 1917. The shape and the name of the Cartier Tank are actually inspired by the top-down view of a Renault FT-17, which is a French army tank that was used during the first World War.
This is a classic and classy looking Cartier Tank Louis with all the hallmarks of the brand, including silver/ white dial with black Roman numerals and railroad track, with small seconds and a date feature.
The watch has blued hands and a blue cabochon-topped winding crown.
The dial and case are both in superb condition with the dial having a hidden Cartier logo at 10 o’clock.

The bracelet has a hidden folding clasp and will fit a wrist up to 18.5cm. The watch has been serviced by Cartier in 2021 , there is a service sticker on the case back and it comes with the Cartier service pouch. The quartz movement has been fully checked by our watchmaker and a new battery fitted.
